Privacy Policy.

How we collect, use and protect personal information. Last updated 9 August 2026.

Who we are

Grey Wolf is a marketing agency based in Nottingham Road, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA). For anything in this policy, contact mark.smith@grey-wolf.co.za.

What we collect

When you contact us or submit a form on this site, we collect the details you provide: typically your name, email address, phone number and your message. Our site also records standard analytics such as pages visited and the campaign that brought you here.

When we run advertising campaigns for our clients, we process lead information submitted through those campaigns (for example a lead form on Meta or a landing page) on the client's behalf. That information is used to respond to your enquiry, to deliver the service you asked about, and to measure which advertising brought you in.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide our services, send communications you have asked for, and measure advertising performance. We may share hashed (irreversibly encoded) contact details with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google to measure conversions and improve targeting. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and retention

Lead information we process is stored encrypted. Directly identifying details (name, email, phone) are retained only as long as needed to deliver them to the business you enquired with, after which they are reduced to irreversible hashes used for advertising measurement. Service providers we use to operate (hosting, email, databases, workflow automation) process data under their own security controls.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Email mark.smith@grey-wolf.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

To request deletion of data collected through an advertising lead form, email the same address with the platform and approximate date of your submission.
